Training Course

The MPAG will hold its annual spring training session for PGI Shooter Certification. Class begins at 8am and will conclude late in the afternoon with the written test required for the PGI certification process.

What to Bring to the Training Course

I thought that I should write you a quick little note on items that would be good to bring with you to the Display Operators Certification Course.

As you know, we will be doing “Live Fire” exercise, so the following items would be a real plus:

  1. Safety Glasses
  2. Cotton clothes (Denim or the like)
  3. Hard Hat
  4. Hearing Protection
  5. Water or other drinks for during the class (I am sure that I don’t have to mention that alcohol is really not a good idea).
  6. A chair to sit on for outside

We will have some of these supplies available, but our supplies are limited, so if you have your own gear, please bring it.

Additionally, although there will be a lunch supplied at reasonable cost.

Please remember that as a Course Attendee, you are welcome to stay for the MPAG meeting and Club Shoot. Please bring a Dish to pass, as we always have a potluck dinner during the event. Try to make your Dish to Pass something that does not require either heat or refrigeration.
